Importing MSP XML files into SQL 2012 database - Oracle Systems Manager for Oracle ZFS Storage Beta Program

Has anyone found a resolution to the error message 'not a valid integer value' when importing MSP XML files into an SQL database other than changing the file type? Thanks,Erin

RMAN duplicate command with SKIP tablespace is creating tablespaces and datafile that are skipped

All, I restored a production database on a QA server using RMAN duplicate database with SKIP tablespace commands, as we didn't need all the data. RMAN has created the tablespaces that are excluded and its datafiles under ORACLE_HOME/dbs directory with the name "MISSING" When I try to export these tables it is throwing me an error. Has anyone experienced the following error and how did you fix it? Please help. The database restore is complete, but when I started the export job, I got the following error. ORA-39126: Worker unexpected fatal error in KUPW$WORKER.FETCH_XML_OBJECTS [DB_LINK:"ATG_PUB_PROD2"."ATLECOMP.EXPDEV.LOCAL"] ORA-00376: file 25 cannot be read at this timeORA-01111: name for data file 25 is unknown - rename to correct fileORA-01110: data file 25: '/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/dbs/MISSING00025'.   When I checked the file_id and fille_name from dba_data_files, it is pointing to bunch of files under ‘+DATA_ECOMQA’ disk group with the correct names and a few under /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/MISSING*. Thanks,Kumar.

ACL for Oracle 12c database and use of APEX_UTIL.GET_PRINT_DOCUMENT

I want to use the procedure mentioned above to create a pdf-file based on a query and a layout file, and store the file into a table. Our configuration:Oracle 12c database (Windows)Apex 5.0.3ORDS 3.0.3GlassFish 3.1.2.2 The only thing that appears in my table now, is a kind of html-file saying "503 Service Unavailable"Maybe this is because of an incorrect ACL? Can anyone provide an example of the ACL that is required, including what should be used for hostname, port and privilege-list, name and type?
Is there something in the ords log file for this error?

ORE with Hadoop ( creating metadata from ORCH for a Mapreduce job)

Hello,Just started with ORE and trying to put together a MapReduce job from Oracle R.Am doing hdfs.attach( 'filename') and it doesn;t create the metadata . Returns NULL.I believe I need the metadata of the file to exist in order to run the Mapreduce job. Am I right? Many thanksLorea
Hello Lorea, The dfs.name argument to hdfs.attach should be a directory name or HDFS path relative to the current working directory. If you are specifying a direct filename, you may be seeing the error "failed to write metadata to hdfs." You can correct this by invoking something like: hdfs.mkdir("filenameDir")hdfs.cp("filename","filenameDir")dfs.obj.id <- hdfs.attach("filenameDir") Mark

JMS Capture: Help With Generating Source Definitions File Using GENDEF

Hi, For capturing messages from a JMS queue the utility gendef is provided for generating the source definitions file. In the examples provided the source definitions files are already included so I would like some details on how to create this file for a new XML message structure. When I attempt to create the definitions file for one of the examples using the below command it fails when I remove the preexisting source definitions file dirprm/dt.def: C:\goldengate>gendef -prop dirprm/jmsvam-dt.properties -out dirdef/dt.defUsing property file: dirprm/jmsvam-dt.propertiesOutputting definition to: dirdef/dt.defSource_file = dirdef/dt.defError occured in defschema.c[489]: Could not open file: dirdef/dt.def Error occured in defschema.c[607]: Error parsing sourcefile Error occured in xmlparser.c[63]: Problem reading schema from sourcedefs file dirdef/dt.def Error occured in parser.c[263]: Problem initializing the XML parser Error occured in javavamimpl.c[122]: Could not initialize parser Could not initialize Generic Vam How can you create the source definition file if it does not exist in the first place?  Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks, Paul
If you are "capturing" JMS messages via GG, and creating a GG trail -- then, will this trail be applied to a target database, using GG replicat?  If so, then run "defgen" against that target database schema, then you have your source-definitions. The second part of this requires that you have your JMS receiver (aka JMS "capture", aka JMS "VAM") properties file configured so that it parses the incoming XML so that it maps to the target database schema.  The "gendef" (not to be confused by "defgen") would be useful when you have input (JMS messages) generated via (for example) a mainframe application, and already had a cobol copybook formatted definition file, and wanted to convert this "definition" into a GoldenGate source-"definition" file. (Note: if using GG v12 defgen, be sure to generate the source-definitions file (via defgen) using "format release 11.2" source-definitions output.  Because presently the only GG JMS capture version available is as of yet v11.2.  But these trails can be sent to a newer, v12 replicat without a problem.)
Thanks Mike.

Load DATA from txt file _ODI

Hello, I wanted to know how to load an already existent ODI table from a text file. Thank you for your help
Hi, Please clarify on your question , it's not clear.let us know source target and the version you are in. Thanks,~KKT~
Hello, As part of an internal project, a database will be removed temporerement, this database is a source for ODI, the admin of the database that we have Extracte a temporary text file to load and use it as source . Currently we extracted the data from the source and put them in an intermediate table ODI then load in Essbase. I just wanted to know how to replace the source database for this file and how to load it in the intermidiare table. thank you. EPM Version: 1.2.1 11 Verion ODI 10.1.3.6
You may add new interface to write to flat file(txt/csv) from database & then pick up that file as a source in another interface. Regards,Santy
Hi,The file already exists, I just wanted to know how to read its contents and load it into a data base intermediare existent. Best regards
Just create model & datastore. Then you can reverse engineer the file, selecting correct delimiter.Once done, drag that datastore into interface as source datastore. Regards,Santy.
hello, ODI Gurus: Delimiter Flat File - RDBMS Table LoadingI followed this tutorial to create a model and a datastore from a text file, but the problem is that when I click on reverse nothing happens and the creation of the fields does not occur;  An idea please ?PS: I use the 10.1.3.6 version of ODI and not 11Thank you.
